They say it won't work
They look on and smirk
They say you will fail
As they tell their tale
You say you will pray
They say there's no way
You say you will try
They cringe with a sigh
You're naive they say
Just wait till one day
They say you'll want out
Then you start to doubt
Is this what God wants?
What is my response?
Have I been so wrong?
My life all along?
But then you recall
In no time at all
The Bible is true
God's plan you hold to
